CREW SOURCING & MANNING
- The Company’s main manning strategy is to man the vessels with local employed crew chosen by its own Human Resources Department
- 400 active crew on board the vessels and 300 crew waiting at vacation
- All crew members are Turkish
- Officers are graduates of various marine academies in Turkey
- Implements an extensive cadet programme and always employs cadets who are trained on board to become officers in our fleet
- Sponsor company for Yalova Maritime University, invested in ice training simulator modules
- Joins and sponsors academies’ social activities & celebrations such as career days and fish day
- Invites academy students to annual company seminars and social activities/ meetings held in the head office
- Employs cadets in the head office
- Most of our senior and junior officers work with us from the time they are cadets
